I was wondering what to say to this… I don't know what to call her. Judging by her outfit, I think I'll call her a witch.

A little bolt of lightning shocked my side. Where it came from, I had no clue.

"Mind your manners, spirit. I have a name." [Witch]

Her eyes sparkled with a mystical air around them. If not for the fact that I was rubbing my sides, I would've put my hands in a surrender position.

"Okay, how about you tell me your name?" [Solace]

"My… name?" [Witch]

The witch blinked a few times and burst out laughing.

"Oh my, it has completely slipped my mind. My name is Lapasia Fae. I am also known as the great sorcerer of the moving tower. You may call me Lapis." [Witch]

("That's a… very long title.") [Solace]

Guess I'll scrap the witch nickname now.

Lapis then gave me a smug smile.

Unfurling the paper, she showed it to me.

Right there on the paper, was a picture of Nakros. Which is the person who just left a moment ago, my senior disciple.

"Is that so?" [Lapis]

She squinted at me like an old lady.

I didn't know what this "energy" was, but it might be similar to how Jukhan recognized my master.

"Perhaps you're a disciple of Vincent?" [Lapis]

I started sweating bullets.

I was pretty much traumatized by the last guy who knew my master, and I wasn't looking forward to dying anytime soon.

I promptly shut up.

I hoped that Master didn't have mind reading because I was most definitely cursing him at the moment.

Rubbing his nose, Vincent let out a little sniffle.

Lapis smiled.

"Can't do~." [Lapis]

"What? Why?" [Solace]

"You're going to be my research subject." [Lapis]

I couldn't believe I had to deal with a mad scientist now.

"What would you even research? I'm just… me." [Solace]

"That's the thing. A spirit who can move freely without a contractor is unheard of." [Lapis]

That gave me an idea.

"How about I show you something else that is unheard of?" [Solace]

"Oh? And that is?" [Lapis]

"Let me out of this cage and find out." [Solace]

I didn't think this would work, but it was worth a shot.

And with that, she opened that cage.
